Spanish Classical Guitar – Unknown Maker

A well-built vintage Spanish classical guitar from an unknown maker, most likely originating from one of the traditional guitar workshops in Valencia, Spain.

During the 1970s and 1980s, it was common for Spanish workshops to build high-quality guitars without labels or maker's names. Many of these instruments were sold through guitar teachers and music shops, who would sometimes place their own labels inside the guitars. According to its previous owner, this guitar was purchased in Germany in the 1980s from a guitar teacher who claimed to have built it himself. However, based on the construction details, rosette, internal workmanship, and finishing, it appears more likely that the guitar was made in a professional Spanish workshop.

The guitar is built entirely from solid wood and has matured beautifully over the years. It offers the warm, open sound that many players associate with vintage Spanish instruments, with excellent responsiveness and comfortable playability.

Although the maker remains unknown, the quality of the craftsmanship speaks for itself. It is an honest, well-made Spanish guitar that offers exceptional value for its price.

Offered at €2,000, this instrument is an excellent opportunity for players looking for a fully solid vintage Spanish guitar without paying the premium attached to a famous name.
