About Paulino Bernabé

Paulino Bernabé (1932–2007) was one of Spain's most respected and awarded guitar makers. After beginning his career in the workshop of José Ramírez, he established his own workshop in Madrid, where he built concert guitars for many of the world's leading classical guitarists.

His instruments are admired for their powerful projection, refined craftsmanship, and unmistakable Spanish character. Today, guitars built personally by Paulino Bernabé Sr. are highly sought after by professional musicians and collectors alike, and they are regarded as some of the finest examples of modern Spanish guitar making.
